I love flying and one of the things I love most about flying is what I see out the window of the plane. Our first pit stop today was the Taroona Shot Tower. I visited here a couple of months ago and wrote a blog about it then, so won't write a lot about it here, except to say, dad climbed to the top while I waited at the base and took a few photos.

Today, I came to see more of Sydney.  Gina was sooo nice to drive us around the city, and even to some outskirts. King's Park in the center of Perth is the ideal place to go to on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Just beautiful views on the city and the river, and magnificent botanical gardens... Also a place to remember the sacrifices made by all those to whom we owe so much!

Today we headed back to Christchurch. Our holiday time is getting closer to ending. :-( As it wasn't a very long drive to Christchurch we decided to go straight to Orana Wildlife Park as I wanted to see the rhinoseros being fed. This morning we were picked up and driven to the airport to check in for our flight to Auckland. We were a bit early but we didn't have time to do anything else.  Then the flight to Auckland.
