I stayed there 2 weeks like woofer, so i can already tell you that it s really clean !
But the most important is the context.

The hostel has several different houses and room types. From dorm to doubles. I stayed in a double with shared accomodation. For me that was fine. The rooms had aircondition. Due to the tropical weather the garden is a fantastic place to stay outside and meet people. In the garden are different plac…

Definitely the most popular and well known hostel in Sydney. Easy to meet people, fantastic location for all the sights, the train station (which is right opposite) with easy access to all the suburbs and beach. The cleanest of all hostels, modern, colourful. However on the higher end of costs compa…

We visited this site on a day trip to try gold panning in the river - we liked it so much we came back to camp on our next trip to the South Island. The site is set in beautiful native bush and goes right down to the river, which was great for swimming in - I was out of my depth in places. There's a…

Our first stop when we drove the Great Ocean Road was in Lorne. We had decided to try this hostel, I'm not sure anymore if we booked in advance, but I think we did. The staff was friendly and we had two beds in a large room. When we entered the room we saw there where beds where you entered and also…

Not a bad hostel at all. It’s clean, the rooms are spacious and the staff is helpful. The location is probably the best asset, you can park your car for free 5 minutes round the corner (really hard to find free parking in Sydney centre) and if you have a laptop, Glebe library (10 minutes walk) h…

Kangaroobie is a camp/hostel located on the Great Ocean Road near Princetown. I only stayed at this hostel because of booking problems at a hostel in Port Campbell.
I had originally booked a night in Port Campbell, but when I arrived, I learned that I had booked the room for the following day,…

Here goes my first contribution. I thought the place looked very funky, super friendly staff, nice common area and pool. Big and clean bathrooms. The bar and a food joint will keep you fed and drunk:)) Regular shuttle bus runs to the town centre and back every half hour all night after 7pm I think..…

One of the friendliest hostels I have ever stayed in. Pat (The owner/manager) is wicked. He holds a free BBQ for everyone saying there on Saturday evenings all during the summer. Everyone is helpful and very friendly. I went with the intention of staying for a week, and ended up staying for 3 weeks!…

Koalas is situated at the top end of Airlie beach, 3/4mins walk from the main lagoon and drinking areas, but seconds away from bars, pie shops (ever so important after a night boozing) and a well-stocked gas station.
Less a hostel and more a series of wooden cabins of various sizes and a camping …

Fern Lodge is located only few minutes walk outside the center of Wanaka. I stayed in a two appartment house sharing the bathroom and the tv (aswell as the fridge) which was situated in front of the two rooms. Was great to have my own bed :-) The room is small, the bed was comfortable.
