Ocean Key Resort & Spa Key West

We stayed at the Ocean Key Resort at Key West after doing some pretty extensive research online. It was about as overpriced as everything else on the damn expensive island but at least it has an awesome location, a great room and our package included a serious breakfast and two daily cockails at the pier bar for each of us. I guess the cocktails are part of the package to help you forget the price of your room. But of course you will forget about the price anyway once you get into the whirlpool in you bathroom that opens into the bedroom through shutters so you can check out the sunset on Mallory Square or some "movie" on you TV all while enjoying a nice bubbly bath.

Making a long story short, I loved the awesome room with the whirlpool, the filling breakfasts and the Mallory Square right outside our balcony. Staying in Ocean Key is being right in the middle of Key West and with all so called luxury hotels around being equally overpriced you can simply decide to enjoy your time there as best as you can. And remember to check the hotel´s website, they have some nice packages there. Just by having the breakfast and the cocktails included you save $70 a day.
