Ocean Bar & Grill
Ocean Bar & Grill Reviews
Ocean Bar & Grill in Budapest Jan 21, 2005
Being in Budapest gives you an enormour amount of oppotunities to dine, there are almost restaurants all over. After walking the streets for a whole day my son and I wanted to have some good food.
We had earlier on our walk seen the Ocean Bar & Grill and thought that it could be a great place to visit. It was situated very close to the river and we liked the idea of sitting a place with big windows so we could enjoy the view. The restaurant is located downtown Budapest, on the corner of Régiposta and Apáczai Csere János streets, behind the Hotel Marriott. We got a nice table amd had a great view out of the windows overviewing the cold streets of the city on this Januar evening. The food was great, my compliments to chef Giuseppe Mosti - we both just love seafood and we were not dissapointed. A long this great meal I had some fantastic local wine, a Tokay - and since then I always have had some Hungarian wine in my house. Part of the 2005/1 Hungary travel blog |

We took the train to Budapest the next day. Hungary is very (among other things) aesthetically different from Austria. Entering Hungary felt like entering "The Old Country" -- as soon as we crossed over the border, out came the dilapidated buil…… Budapest: Land of Mustaches |
