Oberwesel Vacation Guide
Oberwesel is a town on the west back of the Rhine about mid-way between Koblenz and Bingen. It is a walled city with much of the wall still intact. Many of the original 21 towers are intact as well. High above Oberwesel, is the imposing castle, “Schloß Schönburg”. Now a hotel, the castle is much restored and a walk along the walls is a moving experience. The castle also provides a magnificent view of the city as well as the Rhine and the famous toll castle, “Burg Pfalzgrafenstein”, which lies on an island in the river.

in this town "Oberwesel". all 2 years, always on the time "Pfingsten".....is this "SPECTACULUM"...!!!!!!
