Obarzwanki Krakow Reviews
Typically round pretzels found all over Krakow Jul 13, 2008
Obarzwanki are round pretzel-like cookies sold in stalls all over Krakow. You will find vendors near the station, the old market square, the main streets, shopping area's, parks, wherever.
The Obarzwanki has it's origin particularly in Krakow so if you want to try something typically from the region, why not this cookie? It is really cheap (mostly costs less than a zloty) and tastes fine. It is a bit dry and often salt (yummy) though, so better keep some drinks in hand when you eat it. Apart from that, I can only say that I loved them. They are a nice treat to keep you from being hungry.
Obwarzanki are covered with either salt, sesame or poppy seeds and I really recommend you try one. They're even fine for breakfast or picnic.
