One of the nicest and most fun hostels I've stayed in. Loved all the quirky little details. Staff was super friendly, and the lounge looks like it could be an awesome hang-out and great place to meet other people during a busier season. As it was, we were 2 of only 4 people staying in the place the night we were there. The showers are incredibly spacious, which is rare for a hostel. The breakfast is good and super cheap. Tons of recommendations of things to see and do in the area. The *only* negative I could say about the place is that security is fairly lax. But in a place as small as Oban, I guess you just take your chances with that kind of thing. There is a secure locker at the front desk for your valuables, I think.
