So, we are in Oaxaca. Unfortunately, I only brought the travel book that included Chiapas/Yucatan, and so we are flying a bit blind. We ended up in a hostel without internet and had to take a photo of the map of the city at the bus station to figure out where we were going. Good thing Beau's camera has an excellent zoom feature. Oaxaca, Mexico -› Tule, Mexico -› ...
From the plane I see mountains and farming fields. I have been traveling on a red eye. From the window I see people standing off to the side of the runway to greet their family members. I don' t see Luis though. But, when I walk inside the terminal I see him pretty quickly on the other side of security. Today Jerry and I made our way south of the Zocolo to the market to
check out the arts and crafts and have lunch in the covered food
market. All the people in the food market were trying to wave us
towards their tables and we had to run the gauntlet to get to a stall
that wasn't so vocal. We sat down and the lady asked us what we wanted

Our tour of southern Mexico has now brought us to Oaxaca City. The first thing we noticed about the city is the wonderful climate, nestled between mountains and located well above sea level is the perfect equation for a sigh of relief from me.
