Oasis Papagayo Resort - Reviews - Corralejo

The resort itself is about 40 minutes drive from the airport and its location in Corralejo is quite isolated with not many shops or restaurants nearby. However, the main town is about a 10/15 minute walk away or about 3 Euros in a taxi. There are ample eating facilities in town which is just as well as the restaurants at the Papagayo were not very good. We took a self catering option which was fine but quite costly. Prices in the restaurants on the resort were also quite high.
The rooms were typical Mediterranean style but the housekeeping was poor as the bed linen wasn't changed all week. The resort had five pools and various play areas for children with two poolside bars. The barmen also seem to have trouble with addition as the prices of rounds of drinks always changed each time so be careful and check the prices. The resort is excellent for families though with kids clubs for various ages.
