Good hostel in the city centre Mar 17, 2013
Good location in the city centre. Walking distance to all the tourists sights and to the bus station (the one that you can take a bus to Cordoba from). If you want to go to the train station you have to take a bus (bus stop 5mins walking from the hostel).

The dorm was new and quite nice. Comfortable bed, new linen, spacious lockers. All clean.

The bathroom was also nice and modern and was en-suite so no need to share with people from other dorms.

Breakfast was included, quite basic but that's the standard at the hostels. You can buy dinner too but I didn't try so can't comment on that.

There was a small swimming pool on the roof, where the bar is. There's also a nice common area at the hostel, with sofas and computers (you can use them for free).

Hostel organises many activities like city tours, day trips to other cities, pub crawls, flamenco nights and so on.

The staff were nice but very busy as there's always a line to check-in/out.

Provides Great View of the City Oct 17, 2012
There are two Oasis hostels in town. One is the backpackers and the other is the palace. I stayed at the palace, and the palace is great because of the beautiful rooftop terrace with pool. The hostel is large with over 100 occupants, but it also provides opportunities mingle with the others backpackers. Pancho tours helps provide free walking tours which go in depth in to the history of Sevilla, and I would recommend the afternoon one. There is breakfast in the morning with very good pancakes, dinner is 5 euro and a large portion, and there is a bar as well. You don't have to leave the hostel to have fun, and the price is as low as 10 euro for 14 person room to 45 for a double room. I recommend.

Hostel in the historic center Jul 13, 2011
Quite a cheap place to stay, beautiful building, located 20 minutes away from Seville's famous monuments (if you don't get lost that is, which you probably will).

The people there are very nice, come from very different backgrounds and all speak English as well as Spanish.

The overall cleanliness was fine, except I was quite shocked to find cigarettes in the toilet upon arrival.

Also, 2 out of 3 keys to the bedroom stopped working at one point.

Good thing the reception is open 24 hours a day and somebody will always help you out (booking a taxi to the airport for example, which will however set you back 28 euros).

We were also surprised that there was no orange juice in the morning, normally Andalusia is the place to be if you like oranges!

The tapas tour (tapas to share in a bar then a flamenco show for €7.50) and pub crawl (4 shots in different bars then a nightclub for €10) were slightly boring, but we met other tourists and created a nice atmosphere amongst ourselves in quite empty bars; the flamenco at the end of the tapas tour is worth checking out.

Globally a good experience, I noticed a few issues, but that is only because I'm a perfectionist. :)
