Oakwood Apartments Nob Hill San Francisco

While this hotel is not a luxurious hotel by any means, it is clean and an excellent value for anyone coming to the city wanting to stay in the Union Square area.  Located a stones throw from Market and .2 miles from Union Square,this hotel is in the  heart of the shopping district.  Just one foot outside the hotel and you are surrounded by shops, shops and more shops!  And the cable cars are also just outside the hotel on Powell Street, making it easy to hop on and off another San Francisco tourist must-do.  The hotel has a friendly staff and valet parking with in/out privilages, making life easier on its customers since city parking can be a beast, especially in this district!  The rooms were fine, clean and nothing special, though the beds were GREAT!  I could have slept for hours in them, even the sheets were nice and soft. 

 While this hotel does lack in "extras" or style, it is an amazing value for the location, and with the comfort and cleanliness and I would stay there again for sure.  The price alone makes the room worth every penny.  The Powell Hotel is all you need for an affordable weekend in the city!
