Year built - 1927 year remodeled - 2003 additional property description - urban living has just reached perfection. The library lofts is an extraordinary example of functional, innovative living spaces for the discriminating city dweller. These lofts include oversized living spaces with spacious closets, washer and dryers in unit, spectacular views and skylights. The ten story east building, formerly the dwight burnap office building was built in 1927 and now houses 89 one and two bedroom loft apartments. The west building, formerly the board of trade building was built in 1924 and is home to 167 studio, one and two bedroom loft apartments. The board of trade building also houses 5 two-bedroom penthouses. the buildings are connected to each other via unique catwalks. A variety of elegant floor plans featuring high ceilings, hardwood floors and great views are available, ranging in size from 550 to 2,500 square feet. the oakwood signature apartment provides the highest standards in accommodations, delivering four star luxury to your stay. Our luxury suites include the oakwood dream bed with a pillow topped mattress, high thread count linens, luxurious pillows and a comforter and duvet. The living room features an oversized sofa and chair and a tv and dvd player. A collection of images from oakwood chairman, howard rubys own photo collection warms the suite. A fully equipped gourmet kitchen, a separate dining area, and deluxe bath accessories complete the feel of an upscale home. .
