O'Reilly's Pub Restaurant New York Reviews
Traditional Irish Bar & Restaurant in NYC Jan 09, 2011
After spending the day walking NYC, we were looking for a place to sit and have a lite dinner. Lena got the craving for an Irish Pub, so we starting watching out for one while we walked towards Madison Square Gardens to catch our train back to Baltimore. We past one Irish Pub, but it was full and didn't look like there was room to sit and eat. We continued our walk down Broadway and came across O'Reilly's Pub Restaurant. As we walked in, we were pleasantly greeted by a very nice young lady standing just inside the door. We asked for a table for four, and she walked us to a side room set up just for dinning. The bar area was very busy, so it was nice to see a nice sized room set up just for eating!
Our server, a very lovely young lady with a sweet Irish accent, greeted us just as we all sat down and offered us a chose of drinks while we looked over the menu.
They have a very nice assortment of food choices, along with traditional pub fare.
Our server was very pleasant and patient with us as Lena had to translate some of the menu to our Swedish visitors. We were never rushed, but she was also right there when we were ready to order.
The food came out quickly, and we all enjoyed it very much as it was all very good!
The service here was great, and the food very good, served quickly and hot. The bar area is what you would expect at a Irish pub, but the dinning area was relaxed and quiet.
If you are looking for a bar atmosphere, or a place to sit and enjoy some good food, you'll find both here at O'Reilly's Pub Restaurant!
