O´Learys Copenhagen Reviews
Sports and beers Jun 11, 2010
O'Learys is a Swedish chain and a typical sports bar. In Copenhagen the bar is situated close to the entrance to Tivoli at the Central station. It is a quite nice place with a good ambiance. Inside you can meet a lot of regulars watching the different games, tournaments and betting on them as well.
The place has two types of tables; if you want to eat you stay in one end and if you are just in there for a beer or some other kind of beverage, you stay in the other end.
The atmosphere is usually quite good and especially these days where the world cup in football is being played. Otherwise it will be the same when Tour de France is kicked off and so it will go on all the time. In O’Learys they can show up to 6 different sports events on the same time; they have 3 huge screens and 42 flat screens, so there should be a good possibility to be able to see precisely what you prefer.
The prices are quite fair without being cheap.
I have also eaten there as well but I didn´t find it that good; it was a typicla bar meal with something called Burger Blues that cost 129 dkr or 17 euro. The burgers were nothing special but they fulfil a purpose if you have been drinking a couple of beers.
