ODY Dive

ODY Dive Center, as the name suggested, they are organizing diving trips and courses, PADI certificates.
They are pretty flexible with the schedule – so I took the theory class 2 weeks ago (which I had to sit down and diligently watch 5 hours of DVD modules!) then had to do the quizzes.
Then the second part of the course was a pool session – which is more interesting than the theory part, for around 3 hours and finished with a weekend trip to the nearby islands called Pulau Seribu, where ODY has their small resort wit a private port for the diving trips.
Other than normal diving trips, ODY is also joined with National Geographic, where the participants can choose a project, either a report or pictures or video of the diving and then they will do the diving where the students do their project – upon finishing it, then there will be a certificate from Nat Geo – pretty cool, eh? (if you set aside the thought that it felt like doing the thesis! – a fun one at least!)
