This was my 1st hostel on my trip, while I had no expectation of a hostel, I did the basics of what to expect. The room was small, but expected it, but it was very dirty dust everywhere, there were dirty dishes in the room, from people who had long left the hostel prior to me coming there. I could handle the dirty floors with quite a lot of dust, but it was the bathroom which was horrible. Its a common bathroom, about 2 maybe in the hostel, there are lil showers, very lil, mold on the ceiling and tiles in the shower, the ventilation is not very good in there, the bathroom always seems "wet". No changing room, which is why I guess I saw several guys walking around naked in the bathroom during my stay. Me being a girl, I tried so hard to run from the tiny shower, to the even smaller toilet stalls they have. The other option was going down 2 flights of stairs in my towel, which to save space in my backpack was small, so did not cover much for me. The toilet stalls are very small, and dirty also, and they have that same "wet" feel in them. I stayed 5 days in this hostel and am pretty sure that the bathrooms were not cleaned the whole time I was there, as you could see things laying in the bathroom from day one, still there on day 5. I would def recommend another hostel. The good thing about this hostel is the guy who is at the front desk is very nice and breakfast, which is included was very good, croissants, meats, cereals and juice. No ac in the hostel, so the room gets warm being so small with that many people in it in the summer, and the hostel is on a very busy street, so getting sleep with the window open is hard, cause that street is loud all night. The hostel is right next to the train station and in front of the bus stops Also has many restaurants and stores on the street, so very good for that. Security wise, its great, you get your own key for the door and you room, so limited access to who gets in this hostel. 24/7 reception also and lockers in the rooms and locks on the doors. Again, I would never stay there again, it could have been worse, but I think aside from it being filthy, it would have been a ok place.
