Located in Bairro Alto on Rua Norte is a tiny restaurant that can maybe seat about 15 people. It is of course family run and they serve excellent seafood. I highly recommend the garlic shrimp. The prices are around 10 euros a plate with enough food to share.
You HAVE to eat the dessert. The owner himself will show a magazine where his recipes have been published but I have yet to be able to copy his famous chocolate cake recipe. If you like chocolate, you MUST have his chocolate cake. And if you can't decide, he will make a dessert sampler. Last time I was there, we ended up sharing dessert with the table next to us!
