Nye's Polonaise and Piano Room

What can i not say about Nye's. First i'm a bit biast for the place since i bartended at the joint. But it didn't win BEST BAR IN AMERICA for nothing. it's a place where you can get away from all that 18 and up club disco of downtown and come to a real back in the day gangster hang out. It's in the best part of the city, North East and has a 80 yr old piano lady that's been there since almost the place opened. It's a union bar(which are few and rare) which means that the food is better then what our Gov. Gets. For the resturant it's authentic Polish food with their meat supplier right across the streat. As for night life, it's the only piano bar in Mpls. It has the Worlds most dangerous Polk Band playing in the other bar and a mix of bartenders that are old enough to be my grandpa and still quick enough to kick your ass. A Must see if heading to Mpls especially The high season which is in winter. Friday,and sat. are the busy nights during the weekdays i'd just come for dinner and maybe a few songs.
