Nusa Penida Bali Reviews
Bali like it was 20-30 years ago Jun 24, 2011
The lovely island of Nusa Penida is quiet, with lots of snorkeling and swimming, with a magnificent view back to the volcanoes of Bali. Stay in small comfortable guesthouses. Visit the many sacred temples (Dalem Ped, Giri Putri Cave Temple, ...)
There are not many tourist services on the island. Most areas have no restaurants, just very small traditional Warungs. Eat there and the people invite you back to their homes.
Go snorkeling and the local children, run with you to the beach, rip off their clothes and join you.
Getting to Nusa Penida Island : From SANUR Harbour with Traditional Boat to KUSAMBA Harbour with Traditional Boat, PADANG BAY Harbour with Ferry or Traditional Boat, Nusa Lembongan Island by Public Boat.
