an affordable simple "home" in KL Apr 21, 2008
ideal for backpackers. honestly though, i was disappointed at first when i arrived. looked very different from their website. i even got confused as to where the reception area was! just saw a lot of tourists lounging around & didnt know who to approach to inquire from. thought i made a mistake but coming back after attending the federer/ sampras special cocktails, the place looked more like how it's depicted in their website. looked more organized & cleaner. still it wasnt as what i was expecting it to be but i say, it wasnt bad at all and a huge thanks to the ever reliable BOB who kept awake for all the guests almost 24/7, i recommend this backpacker's hotel. the accommodation is very reasonable. not bad at all. what's important i guess is that i felt safe and slept well during our stay. Whatever request we had for Bob, he made sure that me & my friend got it. the breakfast was simple yet filling. other occupants were friendly and Bob himself was very accommodating. the place actually looked better as the days went by. i guess my facial expression & the look of disappointment i had when i arrived helped, hehe. good then coz after my stay there, i can recommend number eight to backpackers going to kuala lumpur :)
