The bridges that ties the history together. Apr 02, 2008
At the corner of Nábr. arm gen. L. svobodu / Rázusovo nábr. stands Noyv Most crossing the Donau from old Bratislava to Pétrzalka. Novy Most means The New bridge but it was build dureing the communists grand era in 1972, and thus it's acctually no longer the newest bridge.

But it's a magnificent sight filled with ambience of a closed time now gone....

One of the sad things about this bridge is that in order to make room for it it was nessecary to tear down 2/3 of the old buildings in Bratislava - among them a Jewish synagoge.

Cross the bridge from Bratislava City center to the other side of the Donau and you'll be able to enter the UFO which is a platform on top of the bridge where you can get maginficent views all over Bratislava and Petržalka from 431,8 meters hights.

Below the viewpoint is a nice round shaped bar which is good for refreshments and drinks, allthough also a bit expensive.
