Novotel Hotel Mainz

Mainz is actually a good place to start your own wine tour along the Rhein river. The bridge which connects Mainz and the town of Wiesbaden on the other bank of Rhein lets you start the journey in search of a good Riesling wine along any bank - without being depending on the schedule of ferries (as the next bridge over Rhein is in Koblenz, 94 km and minimum 1.5 h on the road).
Novotel Hotel Mainz is nothing but another typical European hotel for mainly business travellers with all corresponding facilities, which probably lacks its own style but is definitely comfortable - in other words, If you arrive by car, you can save as the street where hotel is situated, is one-way road going down the hill, with lots of free parking places.
Briefly, safe choice, especially if they offer some special prices, but next time I probably would prefer Motel One in Wiesbaden.
