Novelty Suites Medellin Reviews
The life of kings Nov 12, 2009
I cannot recommend Novelty Suites enough! I stayed here for five nights my first trip to Medellin. I was instantly greeted by a very friendly staff, and an extremely helpful (and patient) concierge who showed me to my room, showed me how the WIFI worked, and gave me advice on what to do around town.
The room was huge! I had a small suite, which included a kitchen, table, couch, balcouny with AMAZING views of the city, a large flat screen TV, walk-in closet, safe, iron, large bathroom and incredibly comfortable bed. It also had AC, but you really don't need that in Medellin. A large hot breakfast buffet was included in the rate, which had eggs, rice and beans, arepas, soup, omletes, fresh fruits and fruit juices, coffee, and varried between meatballs, churizo, tamales and potatoe cakes each day. All served up by very nice people! The location is safe, clean and within walking distance of Oviedo Mall, and if you are feeling up to it, Parque Poblado and the Metro station; however, cabs are also cheap and plentiful in the area. The best part was all of this was only about $90 per night! Part of the Colombia y Ecuador, November 2009 travel blog

No, you don't realize how rusty your American taught Spanish actually is until you step… Awe inspiring |
