Nova Platinum Hotel Pattaya

Having never been to Pattaya before I relied on friends recommendations for location and this hotel delivered beyond expectations! It is a 5-10 minute walk to 'walking street' in Pattaya where most of the nightlife is and it is very easy to get transportation in the form of a 'baht bus' outside the hotel. Checkin was typical Thai with good service and friendly smiles. The bellboy had to show me how to use the key to get into the room as it isn't the typical swipe card but you simply wave it by the door. The rooms were very spacious with a King bed. Flat panel TV, well stocked mini-bar, complimentary robe, in room safe, and daily bottled water were all perks that you wouldn't expect from a hotel that only cost around $50/night!! My only complaint is that there is a small step in the bathroom that I consistently slipped on but that's because I wasn't used to the layout.

The hotel also has a very very nice pool with a small water slide and swim up bar along with a poolside restaurant that does room service as well. The hotel elevator is very small so if you are claustrophobic you might want to take the stairs.

For the price I would say this is a great hotel with many perks that you wouldn't expect, great for families or singles looking for a good time in Pattaya!
