Nosolo Italia Lisbon Reviews
Italian taste in Lisbon Jul 04, 2012
After the long day of exploring Belém, it was time to find a place with some good food. Italian restaurant wouldn't have been considered as a first choice, but was the only one in the area open at the time.
Nosolo Italia belongs to the Group of restaurants set up in 1982 in 6 Portuguese cities serving traditional Italian cuisine.
The restaurant is located in the Espelho de Água, facing the Monument of the Discoveries with stunning view of the Tagus river. It is pleasantly decorated in Mediterranean style creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Fresh ingredients for the dishes and all flavours of gelados are displayed in big fridges located by the bar.
Waiter welcomed us on entry and after confirming our seating preference, he took us to the table, presented with the menu and took drinks order.
Once the drinks arrived accompanied by bread sticks with herb sauce, we were ready to order. My choice of the meal was Spaghetti Carbonara followed by a delicious desert of Coppa Morango.
The food was not disappointing at all - well cooked and flavoured Italian pasta dish complimented with amazingly tasty ice cream desert.
The price was a nice surprise as the entire meal cost about €16.
Picturesque location and nice food make this restaurant a place to recommend for a relaxing evening meal.
