Norwegian Pearl Miami Reviews
a big cruise ship with lots of facilities and things to do Apr 17, 2011
I spent two weeks on the Norwegian Pearl - going from Miami through the Panama Canal to Los Angeles. It was a huge cruise ship. The variety of things to do was big. There were many different restaurants (the only bad thing was that you had to pay extra when you wanted to go to a special restaurant - even if you were a resident of a penthouse suite). Food was average. There are restaurants (the special ones) with better dishes, but the majority of restaurants (the usual ones) were average.
There were lots of events all day long which I appreciated. However, the events were particularly made for Americans. There was hardly something for Europeans which was a pity since there were many Europeans (esp. German-speaking people) and some southern Americans on the ship.
All in all, it was a great cruise and the ship was luxurious.
