Certainly, travel is more than the seeing of sights; it is a change that goes on, deep and permanent, in the ideas of living. Oslo is really a wonderful city, with wonderful people living there. ...I left the city with one promise on it..."I´ll come back."

Gudny went skinnydipping, while I just waded a little. i had a cold, so in order not to make it worse, I had to go easy. Looking through Marit’s (tvillingmarit) pictures a while back I ran across a great shot of two knights on horseback ready for a tournament joust.  I knew I had spotted a shot that I could “fix”.  There was just something that told me that the first guy had an advantage over the rest of the field.  But it took me a little work to bring that advantage out into view.  Finally, I realized that the red and gold coverings on the horse actually continued on down and were pi...

First off, this entry, or any of my entries to come, are probably not going to be of any use to anyone on here, but rather a place I found in cyberspace where I can attempt to regurgitate my experiences in some sort of tangible way, if that's the right word I'm looking for.  Anyway, I'm not real keen on doing a lot of "touristy" things, although I do have my fair share of them.  I'm more the type to go somewhere and get to know a city by either having a friend who lives there...

It's only a week left.  One single week.  7 days!  I can't believe it.  I don't even think I understand what's going on.  Our first stop is India.  Flying into New Delhi, before we're planning on visiting Agra, Jaipur, Ranthambore, Goa and Varanasi. These past weeks I've been focusing a lot on what to pack, and what not.  When I went to South Africa last year, I brought way too much clothes.  I didn't even use half of it.  I'm allowed to bring 2...

It was late night when we arrived to some place near of Oslo. We really needed petrol in car, but only gas station which we had seen for a long time was closed and cards didn't work in automat. We weren't enough close to Oslo so that we could drive there and try to get petrol from somewhere else so we decided to stay rest of the night on that gas station parking place. At the morning when it opened we finally got petrol and could continue driving. It still took some time to us to ge...
