Good Organic Eatin in Columbus Sep 26, 2010
Don't be surprise if you should walk up to this small cafe and there should be a line out the door!

Northstar is a favorite among locals and for good reason!

The food is fantastic, healthy and all organic! Most of the menu is Vegetarian friendly and a few items are labeled with a 'V' to show that it can easily be made vegan!

You walk in, order your meal at the counter, find an available table and wait for the staff to bring your food out to you! The atmosphere was busy but still relaxed. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

I had ordered the Rosemary roasted yukons and the famous Northstar Veggie Burger.. The Yukons were delicious and the veggie burger was out of this world!!!!!! I could not believe that it was made with beets!! I'm not a beet fan AT ALL, and I barely noticed them! The veggie burgerwas served on a roasemary bread with a light side salad.. I recommend putting some of the salad greens on the veggie burger sandwich. They are lightly coated with an italian like dressing and compliment the complex flavors of the burger! :)

My friend decided to order from the popular Brunch menu. Some kind of banana pancake with a cheese inside and a cheesey egg sandwich. She was happy! :P

This is definitely a place that I would visit again the next time I travel to Columbus, OH! Worth waiting in line! :P
