North Haven, Connecticut, USA is a suburban town in New Haven County,just north of New Haven, Connecticut. It is situated less than 10 minutes from downtown New Haven and Yale University. It is also near Quinnipiac University and Sleeping Giant State Park. The population was estimated at 24,000 people in 2005. North Haven is located less than ten miles from Long Island Sound, about 76 miles from New York City and 115 miles from Boston.

The town itself dates back to the early 18th century and like many New England towns, it still retains its town meeting form of government.

In July 2007, Money Magazine ranked North Haven as the eighty-sixth "best place to live" in the United States.
