There is so much to Boston, but if its excellent dining you seek, head for the North End.I wouldn't want to hazard a guess at how many restaurants exist in this neighborhood, but there are a multitude. The reputation is that this is the place for Italian food...but of course this designation oversimplifies ---> there are so many regions of Italy, each with its own unique dishes! But honestly, I think they are all represented here (as well as most other cuisines...plenty of Chinese, etc. venues as well). Here are two of my favorites, though I haven't begun to sample the possibilities:G'vanni's: 2 Prince Street, their gnocchi is top shelf and great pizza too (and of course we are talking about REAL pizza, lol)!Strega: 379 Hanover Street, can't recall what I enjoyed here, but they have an excellent menu, great wine list and one of the most fantastic Italian atmospheres around --- you will feel like you are enjoying a repast in Roma!Enjoy!
