I was invited along with my parents to come to Maine for Christmas. There was a lot of snow and very nice up in the woods. I had fun with everything that we did and hanging out with everyone there at the family owned Inn.

Mt. Washington in North Conway, NH

Went to visit few friends up in NH. Climbed up to Mt. Washington summit...by car, but still, it was a great experience. That area of NH is simply gorgeous! Pictures will say it all. It was also the first time I saw a bear in the wild. He was searching by the garbage few meters from me!

On the road again.  Our next destination is Bar Harbor, Maine but the distance is too great for one day so once again we are heading to God knows where?!  We end up in North Conway, New Hampshire around dinner time.  I notice signs about bears (i'm not a fan) and ask the pe…

North Conway Scenic Railway featuring Thomas The Tank Engine.

North Conway is home to a scenic railway. On the day I arrived, they were having a Thomas The Tank engine fair, where you could ride the train pulled by Thomas himself. It also had a model railroad club in a corner of the old train station. I was unable to take the train, since it would take too lo…

The rest area for us!

SnoopiLou loved this rest area.  The soft pine needles on her little padded feet.    We would take her leash off and let her roam the area.    She would romp thru the woods looking thru the trees and smelling the nature.  It is very refreshing at this&nb…

If you go north on Interstate 93 for a long time you will end up in the White Mountain National Forest. Home of bears moose and deer. Also there are many great camping sites, the appalachian trail, and other hidden places. The leaf peepers come out of the woodwork in the fall to drive down the kangamangus highway to take in all the colors and the natural New England scenery. I travel here often I never get tired of seeing everything thing and there is so much to do for being in the forest.
