The next morning, my accomplice, Joy, was suppose to transfer Goldfishflosser a.k.a. Ragnar over to my custody in Los Feliz but bumper-to-bumper traffic foiled our meetup time.  Instead, Rob kept a watchful eye on Ragnar at the Silverlake safe house until I got there to take control of the situation.  After concurring with Rob on our rendezvous time later that afternoon, I dragged Goldfishflosser outside and quickly shoved him into my beat up old Toyota Corolla (a common car so as n...

My intentions were to sleep very deeply and long, since I went to bed at 5am! But, my phone rang at 9am (8am) in Lima. It was one of my customers wanting to talk about business. Ok, I’d take care of this later. I was thinking about what to wear and remembered the nice top Mel gave to me. Thank you!! It was the perfect gift! I took a shower and the phone rang again. It was Malvin!!! the TB!!! He was in Lima but would leave shortly, too bad I wasn’t there… I called my Peruvian buddy...

WOW!!! What a great weekend in NYC. I was a bit nervous about this one, just because of so many TB peeps who were coming. I am somewhat shy in large crowds and wasn't sure if I would be comfortable in this setting, but all my fears were soon removed.  I will admit, the wine and Patron helped me loosen up, but it was the people who made all the difference.  These TBs who came were such a fabulous group of people, and I felt so comfortable in their company. I realize I did not get to ...

Despite the brisk competition from other wonderlands in Maine, Acadia wins the top spot for natural beauty in my heart.  There is something special about mountains on the ocean.  Even if the mountains are relative midgets (Cadillac Mountain is the highest point here at 1,530 feet - still the highest on the East Coast of the US).   Cadillac Mountain is a good place to begin out tour of Acadia National Park as there is a road to the summit and most visitors drive up ...

During a summer back about 25 or 30 years ago we decided to take in Disneyland. We, is our family of five. Myself, my wife, and three children, ages 13, 11 and nearly 3. We had never taken on a large amusement part before. This was a first for us. We planned to arrive at about 10 a.m. and stay until closing at 10 or 11 p.m. One of the first things we did on our way in was to stop at the rental shop. Strollers and wheelchairs were available for a nominal charge. We rented two wheelchairs. ...
