Frankcanfly happened to be coming through Colorado Springs and wondered if we might be able to meet up. "Of course!" was my immediate reaction and we went from there. The Springs was hosting an Inaugural Summit Brew Fest & BBQ, so in an attempt to be a polite hostess asked Frank if …

Theres nothing like New York City. As they call it the Big Apple or the Capitol of the World. It offers everything a person can desire and more. My sister and her friend came over to visit me for the weekend. I decided to take them to some of the famous spots in NYC. New York City is like an endless book, once you think the book has ended. Another chapter emerges. What can i say, the more i experience New York City, the more I LOVE IT.

Las Vegas is one place that I do not mind going back to time and time again because I actually have friends that are more like family there. When I think of time away from Tucson, I think Vegas, lol!! I have a weekend planned at Rio where I can actually dance at the Vodoo loungue, so for my Vegas T…

What a nice weekend Nicole and Leon invited me on. I sort of feel bad now because I was really looking forward to being somewhere else this weekend but things didn't work out so I begrudgingly accompanied one of my favorite new familes to Temecula. But they had a surprise for me beforehand - a Gala…

WOO HOO LOOKING FORWARD TO GET OUT THE USA FOR A WEEK!!!!! HAHAHA I am not a big fan of Mexico cruises or any cruises that are not islands. Although my NORWAY and ANTARCTICA trips are an exception, since i live in the WEST COAST, I should take advantage of the prices. It’s $500 for 7 day cr…

Mar dropped me off at the Honolulu Airport around 8 pm. Boarded the plane without any hassles and yay I got an aisle seat for my bum knee! I sat next to a guy who used to be in the German Navy. We chatted about traveling. I got some rest on the plane but it wasn't a deep sle…

Well earlier this past week for three days it got down to below 40 degrees F. Sure makes 10 below feel warm these days. Seems that 40 below is a cut off for thing to start acting wacking. My 'check engine' light went on for no apparent reason, cause I checked and it's still there.…

If you know me at all, you know that I am a super fan of anything medieval. But I don’t live in a place where you will find that kind of thing. The center of the state of California wasn’t even more than a total wasteland back when knights and armor and that type of thing were aroun…

Hollywood is a magical world of movies, a place where dreams come true. For a layman like me, a visit to Hollywood was like taking a child to a candy store. Of course I did not know what to expect, my mind thought of all the movies I had watched through the years and wondered if any of the settings…

The next morning we had time to drive around much of the remainder of the 49 mile scenic drive of the city, including San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park which is larger than New York’s Central Park, covering over a thousand acres.

Clueless as to the debauchery and mayhem that ensued just a few hours before I arrived...I stepped off the NWA redeye from Vegas and into my sporty (not) Chevy Cobalt....Hellllloooo Minneapolis! I quick texted Nancy (FancyNancy) to get their location...turns out they just finished brunch (bummer...…
