This campground is the cleanest campground I have ever been to. The camp store is small with bare minimum supplies, however, the location is ideal with shopping just around the corner. A short walk across the park takes you to a great shopping area with restaurants and shops. Dollywood is a short…

Though this campground isn't really near anything, it's definitely worth going the extra distance. All of the sites were very private with lots of foliage. There were tent pads on some of the sites which is always nice. You can swim and fish in the lake (they have a boat launching site). The main ro…

I stayed at this place for 5 nights this June. The Weary Traveler had been recommended to me in Tulum, but when I went there, the dorm smelled bad and we decided to keep looking. Casa del Sol isn't in the Lonely Planet, but there are posters along the main street in town directing you to it, so we…

If your a younger traveler that likes the night life as well as the sites and activities this is the place to go. There's quieter places a few blocks away that are cheaper and nicer. They do a fairly good job of keeping the shadier individuals out and you can stay a little longer then a few of the o…

Bunk has awesome apartments, located above the standard dorm rooms. You can enjoy all the perks of a hostel, like a kickin bar, cheap food, access to tourist info/tours and loads of like-minded travellers, without any of the downsides of sharing a dorm! As most of you will appreciate, your own kitch…

We love to find lesser-known places of dramatic natural beauty. McCloud is not only beautiful, but a great location for avid fishermen as well. McCloud RV Resort sits at the base of spectacular Mount Shasta, adjacent to Shasta-Trinity National Forest. There is world-class Trout & Steelhead fishing r…

I would defiantly stop here again, it's a great hostel but doesn't feel like one. More like staying in your own house.
The staff were great and really friendly. The room was perfect, with a very comfy bed.
Breakfast was included in the cost and there was plenty to choose from.
It's walking …

This campground won best campground of the summer by far. About a third of the campsites are right along the lake where you'll essentially have a glacier in your backyard. 7 pieces of firewood are included in the price of the campsite! Also, tent sites have a tent pad and some are even wheelchair ac…
