This is a great place to stop in while you are visiting Juneau. Lots of local character and the bartenders are friendly. on sunny days they open these huge windows on the front of the bar facing the street, which gives it a outdoor cafe feeling.

The Greek Theatre is a wonderful open-air theatre in the hills of Los Angeles. Despite the prevalence of bugs, it is such a nice retreat and the perfect venue for live music. It is somewhat like the Hollywood Bowl, but smaller, more intimate, and in the middle of a canyon where sound echoes off the …

I know all the reviews are up to our experiences. If it's so, this should be an awesome one, since I had a great time here!
Lucky Lounge is very well located in the Warehouse District which 60's modern furnishings. It doesn't have a big glitzy sign outside, so it could be easy to overlook. I'm so…

Hubers opened in 1879 and is the oldest restaurant in Portland. Check-out the turn-of-the-century decor in the bar while savoring a Flaming Spanish Coffee made table-side with Bacardi 151, triple sec, Kahlua, coffee, cream, and a smidgen of nutmeg. You'll definitely want a second cup!

I say that this place is cheap because pretty much anything is going to be cheaper than the bars/clubs in Boston that I am used to. Relatively, you can get a beer for under 5 bucks and a mixed drink for not too much more. If you're anywhere in the near vicinity of this bar, I would suggest you penci…

The Corporation is a small bar, which could be called a "hole in the wall". I know it's dark, but it's cozy! It's located 10 blocks away from the famous French Quarter, which makes that this place is visited mostly by locals.
