Affordable Hotel right by the beach, overlooking the water, great location May 07, 2008
I loved this hotel !! It was very reasonable. The rooms were very cool, th elobby so nice, great place to relax with a cup of coffee. The hotel was in the perfect spot, a short cab ride to Old San Juan in one direction and Isla Verde in th eother ( I personally like Old San Juan much better for restaurants and night life but there was one good place in Isla Verde on a rooftop overlookign the beach in the Water Club hotel)
The concierge was very helpful, and all the staff nice. The pool is not so big, perfect size. There is no beach really in front of the hotel, but right next store, literally 100 feet is the Hilton and you can just wakk through the open air lobby and use their beach which is what we did. That was nice as it is a bay and the water was so calm and clear, they even have hammocks on th ebeach ! |
