The last stop on my Europe adventure in 2005 was Switzerland. What a great way to end a trip. Switzerland is very clean, quiet, slow paced and safe. I stayed in Zurich and did day trips on the train to Bern, Engleberg, Mt.Titlis and Luzern.

Living near the water is amazing and provides some pretty scenic locations. We've got it all here in coastal Virginia - the Atlantic Ocean, rivers, lakes, the Chesapeake Bay, the Great Dismal Swamp and even inter coastal waterways. Whether you're on the water or at it's edge it's always beautiful. Here are a few of the local "water" destinations in my backyard.
