Left my hotel in Brisbane and got the Greyhound at 10.30am. Not a massively long journey, just two and a half hours and I was in Noosa, a small coastal town. Arrived in Noosa and found a great hostel. Is almost on an island and you get your own apartment with bathrooms, kitchen, lounge, tv etc..., very nice and the cheapest place so far! Had a huge bbq when we arrived. Spent the next 2 days at the beach. Lots of fun with frisbee in the sea and sunbathing. Noosa is a great place, when you get to a roundabout, in Little Cove, opposite the only information centre, take a left turn and drive up Hastings street, where all the fancy restaurants and pubs are.  You soon realise that Noosa is a place for rich people, many estate agents are making a fortune selling secluded retreats by the beach.  I’ve seen one of these luxury complex of flats in a beautiful location, overlooking the ocean and I can see the appeal.     Unfortunat...
