I went to Nookies for brunch. I ordered off their daily specials menu. The foundation of my brunch was an egg scramble containing an assortment of vegetables including asparagus. It seemed that I had all of the tough asparagus bottoms available that day. Why they didn't break the tough parts off and throw them away is my question. My eggs were overcooked and my coffee was weak and not of very good quality, and to add insult to injury the service was slow. I was very disappointed, and left most of my breakfast uneaten and went elsewhere to continue dining. I have no intention of going back there, and I do not recommend this place when there are so many better choices nearby.
