Bellagio is notoriously fancy...upscale...all right, let's just say expensive...but Noodles is a restaurant with Bellagio quality for a slightly-less-Bellagio price. As the name implies, Noodles is a (you guessed it) noodle house, with backlit glass jars filled with dry noodles lining the walls from floor to celing. Bellagio refers to it as casual dining, which means you can afford to eat there, but it's no McDonalds either. While there's no dress code, you wouldn't stand out if you showed up in a dress or a sportscoat. Remember, many of the people eating there are guests of the Bellagio, and we all know what that means.I'm a really picky eater, and I was sure I'd have trouble somewhere that didn't have chicken strips and Coke on the menu (actually, they have Coke). Turns out, Noodles' specialty is simple food made really well, so I had no trouble at all. I ordered the sesame chicken with rice, and it was the best meal I'd had in a long time. Picky eaters, vegans/vegetarians, children, and just about everyone can find something at Noodles. The food is simply prepared and in huge quantities, but with taste and style. It's best to bring along some friends and share some dishes, because there's no way you could finish some of their meals by yourself.Noodles is a beautiful restaurant in a great location with excellent food for a reasonable price. You can't beat those odds in Vegas.
