Fabulous beach hostel Nov 27, 2009
Stayed at this hostel right after Carnaval 2009 for 3 days to relax. It was right on the beach and in the middle of town! It is new, my room was spacious and the view from the patio was absolutely gorgeous. THey have a cocktail bar and reasonably priced caipirinhas. Reinaldo (who runs the place with his wife) were very friendly and helpful; they even walked me to the dive shop & bus station since I didn't find it... silly me :)
Definitely recommend this hostel above all others in that area. |

Buzios is not what it's cracked up to be. It's winter here, so it's the off-season. In other words, the beaches are pretty empty. And windy. Really really windy.
At least the food is OK.
Right now we're staying with my mom's friend. She has a hou…… Buzios |

My main worry on this trip was not for my safety, or that i would run out of money but that i would not meet any friends. This is virtually impossible unless you are a right weirdo (and then its still possible) Its not problem. Everyone is here for …… The St.Tropez of brazil.. |
