No. 2 is the younger sibling of the gourmet restaurant AOC in Copenhagen and serve Nordic kitchen with seasonal delicacies from the beach, sea, forest or field produce in Denmark for the menu.

The restaurant located alongside the beautiful and peaceful quay overlooking the Black Diamond.

There are inside and outside terrace sitting and it seems the inside table is more beautiful for view toward the water compare with the terrace sitting we had and it was quite loud in the terrace with people talking and we practically could not carry conversation without screaming to each other.

We had their six course menu for DKK450 (€60) per person plus wine pairing for five glasses cost DKK395 per person if you wish to or you could order drinks separately.

The service and the food was good, however compare with their first brother, I found the AOC food was much classier, tasty and delicious compare with this younger brother and the table seating was much more calm and peaceful and relaxing compare with this restaurant.

In saying that, the food here still good, sufficient in quantity and quite filling and less breaking the wallet compare with the big brother.

Great little brother Sep 10, 2014
There is a new trend among the top restaurants in Copenhagen. They all seem to open new off spring restaurants which are cheaper than the original restaurant but still keep a high level. Despite the price of the food at these restaurants are about 30 to 50 percent lower than the flagship restaurant it still isn’t cheap but at least it is more affordable to go here and enjoy compared to the top end places.

No 2 - meaning number 2 - is just such an off spring of the top restaurant AOC see review of AOC here It is still a new restaurant since it opened in the early part of the summer.

The restaurant has got an excellent location just at the harbor in Copenhagen. When we ate there it was very good weather so we decided to sit outside which was nice and we had a nice view of one of the small canals in Copenhagen. But sitting inside at the big windows facing the harbor will give you a much better view so if you got the chance you should try to get a table inside at the window to enjoy the fabulous views of the harbor while enjoying your dinner.

The dishes cost between 11 and 18€ with the snacks costing a bit less. The dishes are generally pretty small - so the restaurant recommends you have 4 to 5 courses. But you can probably get by with 2 or 3 if you are not too hungry. The restaurant has a special offer of 6 dishes for 450 DKK or 60 €. This is a pretty good deal which will give you two snacks; a couple of fish dishes a meat dish and a desert.

We decided to go for the special offer and the service was fairly good but not quite the same standard as the original restaurant. The food was generally well presented and delicious finishing up with a surprisingly good dessert. The dishes were pretty small but with the 6 dishes we were pretty full in the end.
