Nizhniy Novgorod Overview

Nizhny Novgorod, the 5th largest city in russia is dubbed one of the "most beautiful" city in russia, mixed with russian culture and heritage. The City was previously known as Gorky , named after a famous russian writer "Maksim Gorky". This city is on the confluence of 2 great russian rivers : Volga & Oka.

The city is divided into 2 parts : upper & lower. The upper part is the historical part of Nizhny Novgorod while the lower one consists of more industrial districts.
