Nirula

Hotel Nirula is the preferred hotel in Panipat, I'm not sure why, but probably because it is close to the main commercial interests in Panipat (aka Oil). I really did not enjoy my stay here, but it could be a lot worse too.

The Good:
Good and not that expensive internet.
Free bottle of water appears to not be refilled in sink
They give you a refrigerator with free beverages, including coke, tonic water (who the hell drinks that?), and lime stuff.
Breakfast is free and usually not to harsh on the stomach.

The Bad:

Waiters will knock on your door trying to get tips.
People behind the front desk are kind of obnoxious.
Outside of town, so the many "attractions" of panipat are far away.

The Ugly:

Dead animals on the road in front of the hotel
Staff calling up the room to ask questions at weird hours.
Lots of interesting family events that we're not invited to (it has a banquet hall)
Mosquitos in the room (is that a bite, or do I have herpes?)
POWER OUTAGES!!!!!!


Well atleast its not a brothel!
