We stayed at Niramon Villas in December of 2008 - just after the place opened for business. Upon arrival we were amazed at how large the grounds were considering that they only had about twenty or so villas in total. The villas themselves were first class and are large enough for two or three people - really comfortable.
The resort is placed right at the end of the beach which means that it is very private and the beach was nearly deserted. It was like our own. Just behind the beach is the swimming pool that really sets off the villas that are located just above on the hillside and some more on the riverside at sea level. The people that ran the place were very nice and helpful. There was a taxi that took us in to Thongsala if we wanted to go shopping and then we just booked various day trips and activities - the elephant camps were nearby so they were great fun. We would recommend the place to all without hesitation.
