Nihi Kai Villas Poipu

It has been a few years since I’ve checked in to the Nihi Kai condominiums on Kauai, but my family stayed here in 2000 and 2005, noticing very little change...so I have confidence this review is not obsolete. If you are planning a visit to the Garden Isle during the summer I can’t think of a better spot. The southern shores of Kauai are more temperate and Poipu is a happening little village with a splendid beach (Brennecks’s Beach) footsteps away.

There are seventy units in this delightful little village, which contains a swimming pool and well laid out grilling area (some of our fondest memories are chats shared with others while dining on site). Both of the units we enjoyed were very spacious and exceptionally clean. All the units seem to feature a porch facing the water, which allows you to revel in the majesty of this destination at will.

Kauai is small enough that it doesn’t really matter where you put up stakes, so you may as well opt for paradise at reasonable rates. Next time we return to Hawaii, there is no question that we will devote some time on the wondrous island of Kauai, and our prior favorable experiences ensure that Nihi Kai is will once again be our home away from home.
