Nightwalk @ Cairo Reviews
Many hubbub less Lights :) Apr 08, 2010
As my title say the night to Cairo also have many noisy but doesn't so night light city , but always a night walk is welcome and above all free :)
Walk almost 3 nights outside and visit many coffee shops , the night market at the downtown and one day lost the way ...
Downtown you will found many noisy coffee shops to enjoy a shisha (nargile) or just have a meal or a beer . Most of the times drunk a tea or a coke , the most of the coffee shops have a TV with live sports and the Egyptians are fall in love with football or soccer whatever . A lot of noise of course from the fanatic fans :)
The night market is more beautiful than Khan El Khalili because most of the peoples are locals and is not a tourist area . Many shops stay open till late midnight and is a nice walk to watching this hubbub :)
Finally the lost way ... :)
The most important was my night walk in Cairo at the night of Christian Easter . Just looking to found a Christian church and try watch the celebration of Christ resurrection . We lost the way and walked for 16 kilometers :) from 10pm until 5 am ! We understand what we did when in later time check the Google earth :) A good gymnastic with a good city night view ! This happen at the night of 4th April :)
Was a nice experience but very tough , no dangerous at all and never scare for some reason :)
Some pictures to have a look (forgot to take of the polarize filter from the Len so some pictures have more yellow color) !
