I think the night markets are just weekend nights but not definately sure. They run 7.30pm to 10.30pm. Loads of great stalls, good for shopping. Also saw some incredible breakdancers there which was well worth watching.

Had some chicken rice which seems to be a very popular dish! I would describe but I think the name says it all, does exactly what it says on the tin!

After Singapore we got the bus to Malacca. It's an old style town. When we arrived off the coach we got on a local bus to the hostel, it was definately an experience, we got some funny looks! It was so hot we were melting! Checked into a hostel and …ride in the trishaws but we resisted. In the evening we went back to China town to the night markets which were really good. Lots of bargains, whether the branded goods were "real" is another question. The next day we got the bus to Kuala Lumpur. … First bit alone
