This coffee shop became a regular stop for us when we were living in LA. It was just a few blocks away and was AWESOME. There is a giant menu, and a great story to go with it all.

I always ordered the Corned Beef Hash, and it was always excellent. I never left without a full stomach. It was quite the indulgence, in fact. Their homemade salsa is to die for, and I'm a bit sad that they started limiting the amount they give you right away. You can always ask for more though.

Price is reasonable, and the staff is super friendly. They remember most of their regulars.

And on occasion, you'll spot a famous person or two. One of the times we went, Matt Dillon was sitting a few booths away.
