Profile
I like to workout and take walks. When I think of going on a trip, I like to have a purpose or goal for the trip. Then other spontaneous side trips and experiences usually come out of it. For example, visit East Africa with the goal of climbing Kilimanjaro. Side trips might include a safari, train trip to Mombasa and fishing expedition off the coast of Kenya.

My wife and I went down to Bolivia to visit my friend Ed who was one of our US diplomats in La Paz. He arranged for us to fly into the Amazon using a confiscated Cessna 205 (from the drug lords) and a Bolivian air force pilot to fly it. Leaving El Alto airport, we were loaded with 5 adults + baggage and the stall buzzer was going off the whole way up to 17, 500 feet (no oxygen for either pilot or passengers.
